WOW......ADPT having such a strong day during such a blood bath in tech market and ORCL. DANG!!!!.......missed my limit order on buying some ADPT calls after having taken a long term profit in ADPT at $51/sh. (needed to pay off some margin and wanted to raise some cash for possible New Years rally on some tax-loss selling candidates. Should have sold my long term holding in ORCL though!!! Although my cost basis in ORCL is $18/sh, I don't feel very smart about my long term investment there anymore.

Why is this thread so quiet on such a great day for ADPT????

I'm looking to get back in at some point.

ADPT may buy 10 MILLION shares. If the program was filled that would be 9% of the outstanding shares. Tomorrow's CNBC interview should be interesting.

"Adaptec, Inc. announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a stock repurchase program under which the company is authorized to purchase up to 10,000,000 shares of its Common Stock from time to time in the open market.... decision was made in view of the prices at which the Common Stock has recently traded."
