If you could point to an example where money alone broke the welfare cycle (that it enabled the kids of single parents dependent on welfare to become economically self sufficient) you would have a case to make, but I don't think there are any examples of this type out there. I never said money alone. I said you need to educate the kids of the poor early and hard with schools and educators that are the equivalent of the best schools found in the suburbs and of the best private schools. And we need to raise pay so that more male teachers enter the profession.
