You nailed it my good friend. We have an entitled welfare state at both the top and the bottom out of control. I look at the Sheldon Adelson and Koch Brothers of the world and just shocks me how it is never enough for these super wealthy people out for even more blood, more profits, more kickbacks and more tax cuts when so many have had globalization and trickle down economics on steroids suck them dry and are in need of more hope and opportunity in their lives and in their communities. You can also see the huge difference between recent brown skinned immigrants with every possible obstacle against them from say Haiti or Mexico versus native American blacks and even some whites now in their third or fourth generation of welfare. IMHO no one should get any handout outside of a very short term emergency gap assistance like unemployment unless you are under 18, 65 and over or disabled. NO EXCEPTIONS..

Also during the campaign, Rick Santorum said “I don’t want to make black people’s lives better by giving them other people’s money.” Newt Gingrich famously added, “I will tell black people to demand paychecks instead of food stamps.” As we edge closer to Obama making some ‘grand bargain’ to cut Social Security and Medicare, it is important to remember that the vast majority of people who receive government benefits are white. In fact, whites receive a disproportionate amount of benefits. African-Americans, who make up 22 percent of the poor, receive 14 percent of government benefits, close to their 12 percent population share.
