Brooks --

In today's LATimes there's an 8-page supplement advertising e-Commerce by IBM. On the third page there's a paragraph headed, "Case-in-point: The Banking Industry," where it talks about their partnership with other banks and VISA/USA called Integrion. It doesn't mention CKFR, but they're involved, right?

From the Mankowski interview, "A key development occurred in late October, when Integrion announced a 10-year agreement under which bill payment processing will be outsourced to CheckFree Corp. . ."

The interview goes on to talk about the possibility of another equity partner being added in the wake of two of the present owner-banks, NationsBank and Barnett, merging. Does this mean they're looking for other equity partners? Would this be another bank?

Just trying to fit all the pieces together.

Let me know if you see the IBM ad. I would imagine it's running in other papers besides the LATimes.

Regards,

Pat
