What we need to know is what percentage of two parent families their were before 1960 and what percentage afterward? For sure it goes from higher to lower. There are probably lots of reasons for that, but probably one of the reasons would be the availability of welfare for single unwed mothers. If its true, its due to drugs and gangs.......not welfare. But you don't really know this. You are just asserting it argumentatively. Because I am in my 7th decade I know from cultural observation what our society was like before welfare hit it.
