Isn't Heritage Foundation now headed by the Tea Party darling senator who left the senate voluntarily to head that organization? I wouldn't expect anything good from that organization that opposes gay unions,, gays that are committed to not only each other but to also raise those children that are abandoned by those who created them. So opposing gay marriage and staunchly support traditional marriage is something that I find stupid of that organization.

This is a common conservative evaluation..............a family without a father leads to adult poverty. First I am example of that not being true. Secondly, single family households have become the norm among white families and yet, we are not seeing the kind of poverty we see in the minority population. So I think you have to look beyond this issue when determining causation.
