Not to mention military retirement benefits and disability. A buddy of mine who wrecked heis knee playing volleyball on a Navy ship is getting 40% disability. His knee really is wrecked, but he works as a social worker, at a desk - no legs needed! He gets "free" healthcare at military hospitals.
