WhiS:

I took the weekend, except for twenty minutes or so Sat morning, off from the internet.

It appears that I have disturbed Patrick from the SS thread and had no intention to do so.
As he told me to reply before Sunday evening, I guess I'll take the week to consider if I should attempt an answer or not. I don't have on my agenda to try to convert anyone to my method of thinking-------matter of fact one would have to be partially deranged to make sense of my posts.

I think that my first post to Cousin Ike typifies my approach to the interchange of ideas on SI. I told him I had come to learn, not to teach.
I have overstepped those guidelines several times and it seems to cause conflict and dissruption.

As you know, I'm currently unhappy with the "new" OEX since the split.
Much to the chagrin of my wife, I spent more than ten hours with my programmer bud this weekend having the big box crunch numbers with a few new parameters.
The goose and three other non named finders have been discontinued
The Red Dog is still being used, but has stricter guidelines

Effective as of last midnight the big box is moving out of the OEX as the primary and sometimes only study.
It's coincidental with several other posters on SI talking about
1) mini 500
2) futures
3) SPX
4) equity options

Ike had requested several weeks ago that I attempt to find if there was any correlation between OEX and SPX and SPZ.
I guess I made him unhappy also cause the answer wasn't forthcoming within a few days.
I have said in the past , and I'll say again that my stuff requires a lot of mainframe digestion. Last two months we exceed the total usage of hours in the rest of the year. Since I learned of the potential split of the OEX the big girl has started to call me Honey........gggg

When I was online Sat morning I did attempt to go download your site but I could see it was gonna take a legnth of time I didn't have so I left.
I'll try again later.....

Regards-----Nemer
