I've owned Apple stock on and off (mostly on...) since the early '80s and for the first time am thinking of selling all of it and getting out. I have never felt as pessimistic about the company's prospects as I do now. I agree with others that while the perception is that this is a dying or dead company, little to nothing is being done to reverse that perception. If it lasts much longer, this will indeed be a dead company. Don't get me wrong...I still love Apple products. But I think I fell in love with a stock, and probably should have gotten out a while ago...

I don't see much light at the end of this tunnel...

<<Hang in ...its July stock pricing (back) all over again.>>

Jim, do you think that since everyone remembers what happened in July, that it helps bring in the buyers when we get to sub-$15? I can't see it hitting $12 5/8 again, however.

Not sure if I should buy more around here or wait until the first day that we see at least a 1/2 point gain.

Isn't it interesting that Apple's shortfall from last quarter's estimates is pretty much equal to Amelio's compensation? Just one of those wacky Apple coincidences.
