Richard is correct, MacOS is the most secure server on the Net. The developer version of Rhapsody was recently released, and an Intel-compatible version is in the works. With this capability, developers will be able to run the Mac-native interface (which Microsoft stole) and quickly alter their PC programs to run on PowerPC processors. As far as Java and Apple goes, I'm in the dark. What I do know is that their new line, the G3, performs multimedia tasks much faster than the fastest Intel-based computer, and that they are the makers of the fastest-running laptop available. As far as I'm concerned, Apple isn't going anywhere. msb p.s. I guess you know what kind of computer I use know.

Mark,
I'd like to thank you for your concise answer on this. IOt is really nice of you to take the time to write an aexplanarion like that.
Thank you very much!
I am stioll not sure that Apple is beat. My friends are, granted, very anti-Microsoft, but they really think that Rhapsody has a chance, partly because the developers kit is so easy to use, etc.

Once again, thank you!

\Sincerely,
Richard
