read the various comments to the article -- chilling from the amount of mistrust and discontent expressed in those posts

this and the recent hate murders by certain youngsters make me wonder as a society where the USA is wandering.

Of course the NSA story only gets more convoluted and my be the "hacker" was right and others not him must face trial.

by summing this all up, the big question is how a wonderful nation, arrived at maturity and great responsibility and goes now on very slippery slope?

my hunch is that the practice of shuffling certain papers, or more precisely electronic digits representing those printed papers and in the process making very few shufflers fabulously rich, with regulators sleeping at the wheel, condoned by society, where and are the seeds of the deep discontent and the start of disintegration.

question is will somebody with leadership and authority have the courage and ring loudly "the bell" and change the social order and present ill conceived preferences cherished today and force to reset society thinking to the fact that actually; hard work ingenuity and productivity of "widgets" we all need will be again cherished and put on a social pedestal instead the paper shuffler engaged in "naked pool parties" in the Hamptons on Long Island which should be discharged and marginalized by society and restraining /capping their high pay similar to government officials
