in principle good news, as OPIC is supporting mortgages in many places around the world.

If a person owns a house he will be more concern about his home than destroy other homes, so OPIC has removed one more reason to be spiteful and bend on destruction of other peoples homes is diminished

saving a home whole is more productive than destroying one and then rebuild it even that this action lowers unemployment. <smile>

prosperity brings peace --- since ancient times, mostly impoverished and hungry people are willing to fight and destroy the wealth of others ---- burning enemy houses is an old tradition
