If you're looking for a great hard drive...

For historical reasons I generally dislike IBM, but their Deskstar 5 (6.4GB) drive is outstanding. It is rated at 9.5 msec access time, but mine consistently turns in 8.5-8.6 msec on various benchmarks. It also has an excellent sustained (uncached) transfer rate of 3.1 MB/sec on my machine according to Wintune97. By contrast, "other" UDMA drives I returned to the store could not exceed 2.5 MB/Sec.

It is so quiet you have to strain to hear the head seek from three feet away. When I first applied power I thought it was broken because I could not hear the discs spin up.

Most important is it's competitive price of $329 at Computer City.

Maybe it's time for me to sell my WDC stock and buy (yeck!) IBM.

They are not in stock and why would you want to trust your data to them??? Try uln.com for lower prices, 3.2G WDC for $199.
