But if you knew anything about what actually happened in the weeks after Katrina you would realize that the problem wasn't Bush. FEMA did pretty much everything it is chartered to do to the extent it could reasonably have been expected. The failures were at the state and local level.

That's isn't true. You're lying and making things up as you go along. You are so twisted that you have imagined facts that are not true so you don't have to face the ultimate fact that you voted for the most incompetent president in last 100 years............TWICE.

Now Bush may be a great guy to go have a drink with........but he was an utter disaster as president.

Blanco, when told by Bush on Wednesday that it was essential for her to approve ceding control to federal troops, told the president she could not make that decision now, and needed another 24 hours (during which time people were dying) to make the decision. US Coast Guard pulled thousands from rooftops and attics, while Nagin hid out on the 27th floor of the Hyatt Hotel until such time as he totally abandoned NOLA for Dallas, leaving behind the city to suffer while Bush cleaned up the mess.
