It makes no sense. Medicaid is worth, what, $500 a month for a whole family? TANF, SNAP, WIC -- maybe $800 if you have a couple of kids? Section 8 housing? $400? That MIGHT be $20K a year, if you have a few family members.

For a single guy? Likely a fraction of that. Dave's talking out his ass.

Food stamps. Medicaid. Unemployment and/or disability. Housing allowances, energy allowances. If he's willing to work a little bit, EITC on top of that.

A lot of it depends on the state.

And that, of course, is before the illegal "benefits" from selling legally obtained Rx prescriptions.
