I appreciate your answer, John. I think it succinctly sums up where we have been on this and are. I do apologize if I seemed a bit impatient and overwrought in my last response. I do care about the direction of the country, but also have to keep close the thought about giving one the power to change what one can, and the ability to accept what one cannot--or words to that effect.

Onward and upward.

Actually, friend BOTW simply wants to divert the thread from any meaningful discussion of valid problems and focus on the minutiae of what he thinks is wrong with the country

..you know, poor people depleting the treasury....

Reminds me of the folks after Sandy Hook who really were upset because someone called the murder weapon an "assault rifle" and any real NRA bozo knows it wasn't an assault rifle at all..
