The Republicans are happy to work to pass a farm bill that is on that subject. It was only when the dems added food stamps to the "agricultural bill" that killed the deal. If they remove food stamps from the bill it will get done. Regarding food stamps what does the fact that 15% of the population need assistance to buy food tell you about the economy? 46 million people on food stamps. The food stamp topic should be debated and voted on as a stand alone item. Neil
