Yeah, but put together all the local box-builders and they account for more than Compaq, IBM, Dell, HP, blah, blah, blah. Can't remember the pie chart that I saw on this but percentage diff. between "mom and pop" computer shops put together and the big brand name guys put together was quite significant. Most people like myself can do w/out the brand name and get more bang for the buck. And the small guys do tend to put S3 chip-based boards into their boxes. Thing is, these tend to be the lower-end systems.

There's definitely a place to go for S3 "out-benchmarked" chips, but man are they cheap so definitely, S3 must hurry it up on its upcoming products or $6/share is gonna be expensive down the road.
