You're dreaming. We're not going to lovey dovey our way out of a nation armed to the teeth with weapons. A certain percentage of our population insanely and irresponsibly championed the arming of America, and now we will live (or die) with the consequences of that. If you really think your own personal arsenal will save you, I think you're delusional, but I don't think it makes a damn bit of difference whether you arm yourself or not. So do whatever makes you feel better. Just keep your guns locked up if you've got kids or teens, unless you like to take extreme risks.
