If you are going to be depending on the next Jonas Salk, good luck. I don't see a lot of people developing new, important medical discoveries without patents these days.

You're stupid, Chris. People aren't going to give away products that they've worked hard for year to develop, sometimes decades. Even when a nonprofit or university makes a new medical discovery, they have to sell it off to for-profit developers in order for its development to be brought to market.

EMI sat on the CT scanner for several years trying to market it without money. Only after GE got the license did it become feasible.

No profits, no health care. Hell, a 12 year old operating a lemonade stand isn't stupid enough to buy into your nonsense.
