CJ, there is nothing in Aquinas' theology that supports the notion that government should take from the rich and give to the poor.

Unequal outcomes are to be expected in terms of human law. Man is obligated by divine purpose to help out the less fortunate.

But there is nothing "Christian" about me helping myself to Bill Gates' fortune in order to help out those less fortunate than myself. I'm supposed to do that with what God gave me, not what God gave Bill Gates.
