Jane, I've read both of these links. Maybe I'm getting a little ahead of myself on this one. What I'm really looking for is a ballpark idea of how many potential customers there are that can use the machine and an approximate price of the machine. If you take the figure of I believe $24/ test, this will not give you an accurate analysis of your potential market,IMO. Here's why: Lets say that there are 20,000 hospitals, doctors office, etc. that can use the machines(a hypotethetical guess). If the initial cost of the machine is say $25,000 (another guess), you would have an initial market of 1/2 billion dollars in market potential PLUS the dispoables. I guess what I'm trying to say is all of the reseach that I read referred just to the test kits themselves. What about the initial placement of the units? Wouldn't the potential be much larger than stated in the research? I know it will all come out when an announcement is made, but it sure seems like it may be a larger market than has been stated in the research reports---medical machines are not cheap! Just food for thought---Kevin
