pass pass: Amelio's $9.7M golden parachute mere chump change in his peer group. I'd bet my last copper Mr. Amelio wishes he never stepped in that hell hole. In light of his achievements at National Semi (no small turnaround) -almost everyone- including yours truly thought he was the right man for the job going in at Apple. Then poof! re: There was pretty good coverage of Apple's unravelling in Wired Magazine six months ago or so. <He should be ashamed of himself.> I beg to differ pass pass. Given how long it is currently taking them to fill his vacancy over there, I'd say something is still very rotten in Denmark. Amelio was wise to get what he could and split. Tar, feathers and all.
