Do you believe this earthly world will ever come to an end, and that all people will end up in Heaven or Hell? If so, when do you guess this might happen and what will make it happen? No one knows exactly when, but does the Bible not say there is a special reward for studying Revelation, and does it not lay out a series of prophetical steps that must happen first? Many say that it is when God determines that the last person on earth has accepted that Jesus is the sacrificial Son of God, etc. What say you? And please, even if a guess, answer in plain English, and do not simply post some verses of theoretical gobbledygook that says nothing. Thanks. PS No one is arguing that the gov't and strict Judaism is wrong, or even evil. But God did choose the Jewish people to enter Earth through, and that was not a coincidence, was it? And surely you believe that ANY Jew can accept Christ and enter Heaven?

It is a temptation of our self-centered Western culture to think that everything revolves around us, and that these prophecies were speaking directly to us, and had little to no relevance for those who came before us. This is a fallacy. Are we so arrogant as to think that God delivered prophecies that were only relevant to modern times, and had little or no meaning for the the very generation in which the prophecies were first given? Mystery Babylon was already at work in the world at the time the Apocalypse was given, long before International banking existed, or Russia, or the United States of America, and long before Rome had fallen away from the Church. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work. The reason many of us fall into confusion when it comes to interpreting the prophecies given in the Apocalypse, and all of Scripture, is because we are of the world, and being enamored with the world, and not with Christ and His Church, we look to the world to provide answers, rather than letting Sacred Scripture interpret itself. One need not turn aside from Holy Scripture, and Holy Tradition, and be a student of modern history or news headlines to properly understand these prophecies. It is not even necessary to have been born in more recent centuries, either. A contemporary of St. John's generation could have been given understanding as to the identity of Mystery Babylon nearly 2000 years ago. We must search the Scriptures daily if we desire to receive the spiritual grace and wisdom needed to correctly interpret Biblical prophecy. For all the answers to these mysteries are contained within Sacred Scripture. As for the passage above, referencing the Great Whore: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication (Rev 17:2) We will find answers both in the Psalms and in the Acts of the Apostles: The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed... (Psalm 2) As recorded in the fourth chapter of the Acts of the Apostles, the holy apostle Peter quotes from this Psalm, and then interprets for us exactly who these kings of the earth are: The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, So the kings of the earth which have committed fornication (past tense) with the Great Whore were Herod and Pontius Pilate. The Great Whore committed fornication with Herod and Pilate long before there ever was any International bankers, United States of America, Russia, or heretical papacy in Rome. So the Great Whore predates all of these. So we must look for another. Search the Scriptures...
