Ted, the median household income for people living in SF is $71K. For Alameda county, it's $69K.

Jesus, you don't even give me the courtesy of a link. Had you read what I posted you would know that its not possible for the median to be $71K. If 80% of the median is $60, 200, then the median has be $75K; not 71K.

WTH, are you making it up as you go along?

The HUD statistics are meaningless because that's only used as a cut-off level for housing subsidies. And that's just because real estate is incredibly inflated here.

Oh, I see.........cost of housing has nothing to do with salaries and the cost of living. Are you for real?

For a transit worker to have an annual salary above that of the median is pretty damn good.

Yeah, so?

Now if you want to argue that the median income here isn't a "living wage," well then that's a whole different argument, one that puts into focus the unintended consequences of liberalism here in the Bay Area.

Oh right.............you can't prove a negative so you simply send out a winger hoping it finds a target. Then Rs wonder why no one will negotiate with them.
