ALL,

Did any one watch the 10:30 EST ( note to self, EST is not that hard to type) interview with Del. The thing that stood out for me was that he had an opportunity to categorically deny that he would consider the APPL job. He was asked point blank if he had any interest in being the new CEO of APPL. He said hardware was the place to be in the 80's, software is the place to be in the 90's and Borland is software. The interviewer then said, so you are saying that you are not interested in the APPL CEO position? Del just danced around the question.

This is not verbatim, it is my recollection. Anyone see it any differently? BTW: I am not saying that he is considering anything, I just wish he had laid that particular rumor to bed.

Regards

Tom
