you are correct, the complexity, the diversity, the uniqueness of every individual and every culture is exactly what we should be encouraging, accommodating and celebrating. There's nothing unfortunate about it.

The answer to our healthcare woes has been in front of us the whole time. It is the free market. And there are those on the left who will say "we had a free market and look where it got us". But there was no free market. The health care market has had a great deal of government control for a long time. What they say wasn't working is actually the over regulation and government meddling within the industry.

The free market would be a far more efficient mechanism to deliver healthcare at an affordable cost. Would it make 100% of the people happy? Probably not. But it would certainly have a much higher success rate than any other system put in.
