Thanks Don. Started looking at some call options today to extend my position.

Don,
I appreciate you posting this info.

WDC did not drop 1.7 TFI.

Did he at least acknoledge the WDC has made statements to the contrary? Some kind of screwup?

The exchange rate on Korean currency is very favorable to APM.

This was the case last Qtr as well.

APM is capable of producing considerably more MR than they are, but TFI is what customers are buying and orders should continue for at least another 12 months.

You need to know that APM has been saying this for quite some time. In fact it seems to be the standard song and dance when someone calls him. Obviously it hasn't helped the share price any. Is this perhaps code for "nobody is buying our MR"? Or perhaps, "We can't produce it efficiently enough to make any money yet?" RDRT doesn't seem to have any problem finding MR customers.

Just a warning Don.(sorry, yes another) In the past when people have called APM, it has always produced confidence in the longs. But if you talk to those longs now they will tell you that they sorely regret having ever talked(or heard) to Craig Crismum. You woud be wise to learn from those that have come before you.

Still more downside to come. Sorry.

Don,

Thanks for the info. The usual caveats apply with Crisman making things sound real rosy. In particular, this comment strikes me as strange:

APM is capable of producing considerably more MR than they are, but TFI is what customers are buying and orders should continue for at least another 12 months.

Did you ask exactly who their current customers are and if WDC is significantly less a customer than they used to be? Also, if they are able to sell TFI is that due to significantly dropping the price to make them attractive compared to MR? That might be why Crisman made the comment in the recent release regarding average selling prices. Customers are buying but maybe APM is not making much money any more. Also, did Crisman actually say customers weren't asking for MR or did he alternatively say that they are still buying TFI? The two don't necessarily conflict.

For those of you who always doubt the agenda of posters (as you should), I have covered all my short positions today and strengthened long positions in QNTM and started a CUBE position. I'm still following APM and may short if it climbs back up. In no way will I go long unless they go near $10. I do believe in my best case estimate of $0.15 to $0.25 this quarter and I'm not sure the market really will believe this until the earnings report comes out. It will be interesting to see how much "more than 30%" the reductions are.

Don- Your a bright star in a dull day! Thanks so much for your percerverence and the Crisman psot. I've been buying APM at 22.5, 21 7/8, 16 and 14 3/4. I was prepared to hold for at least 18 months was going to bail at 10...your post has left me to believe that no matter what, I should hold. I may even pick more up.

BTW, nice hold-up today at 14! Very pleasant surprice. There was a helluva bounce at 13 and 1/4 so I beleive alot of people felt it was a bargain there. Let's see tomorrow when we test it again.

GO APM! and thanks again DON!!!
