I disagree.

The NT is clear that there were many "churches" described. "The church in Ephesus" for example. Many parts of one Body, i.e. the Body of Christ.

This would have been considered heresy by the apostles, IMO.

He cannot have God as his Father, who does not have the church for his Mother. --St. Cyprian
