Thanks for posting this, Ron. I won't have time to do a careful read for a bit. Got to do other stuff. But I'll get back to it later today. A quick skim, however, shows it's neither a WSJ piece nor a piece by the WSJ editorial board. Rather it's an op ed piece, not even by a regular op ed writer. But by a Red Jancke. Not familiar with that name. So we can all see what we think of Red's views.

wiping out poverty would increase IQ and school performance much more. Despair by poor single mother's leads to neglect of children who then have no interest in learning or knowing how to soothe themselves without drugs,alcohol, violence, etc.... This is a fucking fact.
