When you get to it, John, if you have counter research please post. Bread, I don't have counter research just at hand and don't have the time right now to dig around in search of it. I'll just stick with the NYTimes overall comment about the educational benefits of pre-k schooling. They reflected unmitigated, blanket approval. Which fits with my memory of such. If I were to start looking for readings of that research, I would start with Diane Ravitch who is my go to person on questions of public education. en.wikipedia.org
