Do YOU think communism is just ahead of its time and needs the right party to make it work or not?

I have also been thinking a lot about the future and COMMUNISM may have just been an idea ahead of its time. People like Plato could have gotten the idea and made it work. .....
To survive we will need a much more socialistic society/planet with much less differential in income and worth.
