It's been three weeks. You sure no one will get fired? Apple fired one exec a month after the launch over his refusal to sign an apology note, and then fired the head developer a month after that. That's it. And then it took like a year to make it right.

Someone probably should be fired over Healthcare.gov, which, it should be stated, was built by a for-profit company, not a governmental agency.

Another thing to consider, Ted, is that when Apple launched its Apple Maps app as part of iOS 6, it was riddled with so many inaccuracies and embarrassing quirks that even CEO Tim Cook had to apologize and suggest people download Google Maps instead.

Apple Maps works just fine now, but several high level execs associated with the project were fired.

Just something to consider the next time Obama wants to compare this launch to anything Apple has done.


I suspect the ACA website is far more complicated than an Apple app.
