Hi tejek; Re the 47% figure and the fact that the majority of the adult population is "working". In the anti-government view, you have to count the people on welfare or disability along with the people who work for the government. Neither of them is likely to vote to reduce the size and power of government. That's what Romney was talking about, votes not whether someone shows up somewhere and gets a paycheck. And "people who work for the government" includes a lot of people who are not government employees. There is a huge section of the private sector that is sucking on the government tit one way or another. -- Carl
