FWIW, NASDAQ is voting on a proposal tomorrow that would require all BB stocks to become fully reporting. They estimate that should the proposal be approved, approximately half of the BB stocks will choose not to report and will be removed from BB status. I think this would be very detrimental to the stock price if CHIP where to cease reporting. I would expect any stock that looses it's BB status to take a big hit in price due to loss of electronic trading.
