"The other thing you can do is what they taught you in school in the event of a nuclear bomb attack..."

Do you mean, "Put your head between your legs and kiss your a** goodbye." ?

Bill, I hate to bring this up but you and I agreed early last spring that June 20, 1997, was a likely date for the BK.

I am more inclined now to start looking for something more like an undergound coal fire that no one can put out, that goes on and on, with the ground subsiding in places and buildings falling in and noxious vapors rising out of the soil until finally everyone gives up and moves away. But if I can just keep from dying of old age in the mean time I hope to make some money off this mess. And hope to live long enough to see the world economies put back onto a more rational basis.

Bill:

You are indicating a big sell off this Friday, based upon your technical analysis. However, you have not yet received a sell indicator from your charts. Is that correct? This is not criticism, I merely wish to be sure I understood the content your post.

Since I do not have any experience interpreting your charts, from you past experience with your charts, how confident are you that you have a sharp sell off in the absence of a sell indicator from your charts? Has this happened in the past?

Clinton

Duck and cover?
Cover. Yeah, cover, yeah, that's the word. Where's my broker?

Bill,

Is it possible that the low $ figure on the most actives is another signal that the smaller (lower priced) cap issues are being accumulated and that the large (higher priced) cap issues are getting ready to take a back seat....leading to your selloff prediction on Friday.

One thing to look at in the case of the selloff is the relative movement of the Russell 2000 to the Dow and the NAS100. I think that the former will be the stronger.

Just some thoughts.

Paulo

PS. what do you think of PG Jan 85 puts? not much premium and the open interest on the dec 75 and 80 calls swamps that of the puts.

Bill, your weekly predictions have been hitting the mark with remarkable accuracy of late. I think you mentioned Tuesday as being a strong down day. I will watch with interest to see what happens on Friday.
