Hi Clinton, ?#**//@$!!!. There is NO perfect indicator except the market itself... it is ALWAYS right. In my response to the post in question, I indicated that VIX has a good record of predicting 5% or more sell-offs. Well if we have a 250 point drop on Friday (and I am NOT saying we will) then we still are in the confines of the VIX buy and sell indicator even without a signal. And please realize that my VIX 5% indicator is comprised of several others in combination... I had several of those indicators register a sell even though the 5% one didn't trigger. PLEASE, DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK!!!! I am just sharing with you what I see and CANNOT be used as an investment advisor because I am NOT one. To summarize, we have a partial VIX sell and a Barrons strong sell for this week and especially Friday... BWDIK??? Regards, Bill
