Ron, of course and Bush was the worst. To suggest though that the huge social programs we have in place now are not a part of this huge debt problem is where those who pretend this is all one sided are crazy wrong. The ideology of the left is - that there will be safety nets and lots of them and that we don't have to pay for them since we can just charge that bill up to future generations. That's based on their ideology. But they don't even see it as ideology - much like the right don't/can't see their position as an ideology. I'm NOT saying the ideology of the left is wrong - I'm saying that NOT paying fro it is wrong - AND - because we don't pay for it, it butts head with the ideology of the right. No solutions here! I think the outcome is scary.
