mcnabb, selling naked puts according to the experts is not that risky.
in fact in mcmillians book starting on pg 62 he says that selling naked puts is less riskier than selling naked calls bec. the stk can only go to zero but on naked calls it can go up allot more.

besides that..most people who sell naked puts do a bull put spread.
which means they sell a 25 put for 3.5 and buy a 20 put for 1.25

selling a 25 put after you have a 20 put is the safest thing in the book given the assumption that you were going to buy the stk anyway.

I know, I know......you are smarter than Mcmillan and trester and Kolb, and anbacher<ggg> are you sure you have read all the books on this...?????????????

Hank,
How about selling puts on stocks that you have also shorted. For example, short dell anywhere from 90+ to 95 and sell dec 90 puts.
