i-node - It goes to show what television was worth back then, same as the medical and surgical supplies. I got a kick out of that one.

I found a similar bill when my sister spent one night in the hospital in 1962.
$14.50 for the day stay.
$7.50 for the doctor
$4.75 for medicine
$6.00 lab work
the total bill was $32.75
