<<<<<The DepoCyt approval will not be very hot, IMO

.....tom as you know is more optimistic than i

.....i think that approval is expected. this is not a pie in the sky chemical brewed up in the lab last week. cytarabine is a well known chemotherapeutic and most analysts probably know this.

.....however, have you noticed that the stock has been very stable? even in downdrafts, the owners have not bailed out. if they are denied approval it will drop big time--it could be seen as a criticism of their entire delivery system.

........ i predict a jump of only a few points if there is full apporval. but the morphine and antibiotics trials, if successful, should continue to push this one higher.

Cymeed--no offense taken.

Thanks for the apology. You are very kind, but it is unnecessary. In retrospect, I probably should have never posted the actual number of shares that I owned. I did want to communicate my enthusiasm and judegment that DEPO represents an extraordinary opportunity to those who had not yet taken the time to learn the story. I could have made the same point by posting that I sold all of my other stocks and went on margin to buy all the DEPO that I could prudently (?) afford. If people want to give me grief about upsetting the illiquid DEPO market, or being a boor about money, it is nobody's fault but my own.

In my spare time, in some evenings, I give out free medical care in several homeless shelters in my decaying city. I have been given the grace to have recruited over a dozen other doctors to join me. Thanks to biotech profits, in July '98 I am leaving my full-time job in private practice to work half-time in a clinic for the indigent, freeing up more time for more work in shelters. Some people like Miljenko probably view me as a jackal (or some other animal of inferior cognitive status) because I sell some stocks short, and do some trading. But I understand why I am investing, do nothing illegal or unethical, and make postings in the directions that I invest.

In brief, I feel pretty peaceful about my investing and the rest of what I do and feel like I am the recipient of many gifts and blessings.

Sorry if this got too personal or turned into a sermon.
