less now!

All:

Last week several posters were fired up and writing letters to Barrons, etc. about the poorly researched articles they presented on IOM. (The articles appeared a little short sited)

Maybe we should send IBD some e-mail thanking them for having a reporter who did their homework and presented a fair and informative article on IOM.

"just a though"

1000 FEB 30 puts traded as a block ???

Last night, I was looking around trying to decide when and at what price I would buy Feb calls. While looking at

quote.com

click chart and choose volume
enter IOMNF for Symbol
choose 60 for Time
(you need Java in your browser for this)

I noticed that on the afternoon of Dec. 3rd, 1000 Feb 30 put contracts were traded "all at once" (based on my interpretation of the above referenced charting tool) - a very dramatic departure from the comparatively negligible prior and later volume levels.
Reuters notes 100K and 150K block stock trades, things like that also get posted on this thread. I went back and looked through ALL the posts since then (talk about arduous ! black lace notwithstanding) and I find no mention of this 1,000,000 share "side-bet" !

Shouldn't this be considered significant ?
Maybe some sort of a precursor to the recent slide ?
Could someone verify this "action" from another source ?

I've been long IOM since July 1984.
I've been lurking here for months.
This is my first post, I just paid $125 so I could bring this up so don't leave me hangin. <g>
