11/15/13 Contest Update Despite a dive by SRPT, held in 7 Contest portfolios, the Contest median had a outstanding week and closed Friday up 54.29% YTD (vs. up 46.84% YTD a week ago). Broader indexes also did well, with the Nasdaq Biotech Index finishing the week up 54.89% YTD (vs. up 49.12% YTD a week ago) and the Nasdaq Composite Index up 32.01% YTD (vs. up 29.80% YTD a week ago). Our leader RKRW’s portfolio put on another boffo show, closing Friday with a 149.97% YTD gain. ROBO’s portfolio held on to second place with a 125.25% YTD gain and BIOMAV’s portfolio up 105.65% YTD, took over third place. At Friday's close, 36 of the 39 Contest portfolios were in the black with 19 of the 39 beating the NBI. Below is the Top Ten list.
