I never SAID I was in favor of "romneycare"... I would have preferred single-payer as well... but like I said it was politically impossible because it would have been "evil socialism!" in the eyes of the wingnuts ... then it looked like we could at least have a public option buy-in for medicare which would have been the next best option, but that was single-handedly killed with a filibuster threat by the supreme asshole Joe Lieberman... so we have Obamacare... it's not perfect but it's a step in the right direction and better than the status quo... the overall benefits of Obamacare outweigh the shortcomings... if you are not aware of the many benefits then it's because of your head up ass OD Syndrome

So why do you HATE Obamacare so much when the facts show it is actually helping many people? And what is your answer to the Republican controlled states who are refusing the medicaid expansion? Purely out of spite, and at no cost to these states they are refusing health care for the poorest people who don't have it Not only is it a morally bankrupt position, but it is not cost effective in the long run, like telling people to go to an emergency room (Bush's plan for universal healthcare) This is where your ranting that the Dems/liberals/progressives are just as bad as the extremist right wingers fails miserably You just seem to hate ALL govt... you seem to have given up on believing our govt can do anything positive what a negative sad position
