Vatren,
Not many of us turned on about this stock, are there? Except, I guess, for the employees of the company. Anyway, we called Synthonics yesterday and got Mike Budd, el Presidente. He opined that the rise in price is because all the sellers (unhappy and/or former employees) are finally rid of their stock, so now, since there's only 2 1/2M shares out there, the loose ones are drying up and some demand is being felt. It's a super theory, and if it's true, this little rise in price won't be temporary. I'd love for another of their patents to come through now, too. Also, another of their employees said that their deal with the Smithsonian isn't so much for immediate cash, but rather for a cut of the profits when the little cds actually start selling. He thought that those sales might lead to some fine dividends next year. This company's still little, but man does it have potential. Here's hoping '98 sees them flourish.
