In the US? No. DDT isn't used. There are other insecticides that are useful for mosquito control. Ever wonder why yellow fever and malaria are virtually unheard of in the US when they once were common in the South? Dengue is endemic in Mexico. Yet rarely makes it across the border. Ever wonder about that?

You have this strange fixation on DDT. DDT isn't the only effective insecticide.
