well I was curious because I signed up in 1998 and it was under a different company and those records are apparently intact so I am grandfathered in... But I paid $160 for my membership... So for those who paid $75 and now have to pay more I wonder what the difference is... of course I understand it's the principal that those still did buy a lifetime membership, for $75, so why should they be the ones penalized

Yes, it doesn't make much sense to deny those who paid and their records are gone... if they were classified as lifetime members all these years then it's obvious they paid for it

1) how much would it cost for the company who didn't provide the records
of
those transactions to upgrade those people now to current lifetime status?

I already answered this question and complained about this more than once.
Company would actually gain. Because those members are core members that are here from very start and they are responsible that we did come as far as we did. Thanks go to them.

Trying to nickle and dime them is just pissing people off and hurting this company.
Pissed me off as well and I'm not affected, I have life-timer status.
But I just can't get over this nickle and dime thing.
What a way to manage this site.
This wise management even went so far to insinuate these people are liars.

I'm seriously considering to stop posting my charts here at SI.
Why would I want to contribute and add value to this company if I don't have a good feeling for it's owners?
Maybe I should just post complaints from now on and keep charts for myself...
