Obama can't replace Sebelius -- can you imagine a Senate hearings under the current circumstances? I don't know which deputy could replace her, or how it would help Obama.

i expect it was obama that said delay is not an option. she would never had said that at her level. i expect she is always given talking points.

Obama could defuse a lot of resentments by firing her, which she fully deserves. Why he hasn't done it is a bit puzzling.
Perhaps because he knows that no replacement he would want could get Senate approval?
