Off Topic Shades, Use to be a company by the name of Standard Oil that engaged in the same kind of strong arm tactics that "Trey" engages in. (Hint: read the recent Barron's on Warren Buffet and his Malthusian beliefs for the origin of the above nickname) Mr. Gates will also learn that money does not always buy you your own way. MSFT is growing TOO powerful and that generally brings out a coalition to oppose it in the interest of fairness and competitive balance. Microsoft has made many people close to our family mucho dinero over the past 10 years. However, when they stifle the innovation and competitive environment so necessary for technological progress, they CAN be referred to as EVIL, or at least sinister. <g> But they sure do have that spiffy casual dress policy... :0) I'm a big fan of Java's potential since it should reduce the costs of software and IT budgets, thus adding to the profit margin of using companies.
