Some links to an article about shorting. I don't think we are really that paranoid about it here. My comment yesterday at the drop was meant tongue in cheek. I actually had just bought more at .53 - pretty clever huh? I don't take it back either. As these links show, Illegal shorting isn't just a problem, it's a whole cottage industry. Complements of Thu Ra Tin CSMA thread:

This week's Business Week article on manipulating Bulletin/OTC or small cap stocks.

Good point Mike. I go over to EUTO, asking questions, putting up straw men scenarios. So this guy comes back, think his real name must be Dick Weed or something like that. Instead of providing a cogent response to my straw men/devil's advocate scenarios, starts up with like why am I on that thread , who wants you to buy, why should anyone give TG a reason to buy, etc So I say: I need a confirmation slip to post to the thread? I'll write it off to frustration over there.

Contrast that with this thread, I ask some question. I want to buy SETO. Wheels are set in motion, no defensive postures, etc. I get answers. And net result: I'm in SETO with all excess funds.

We see in EUTO how slamming doesn't help. They are all over each other on that thread. Half are in denial, gotta be. The EUTO mgmt still haven't publicly commented on the whereabouts of some 50mm shares.
